About Mr. Henk Broeders

Henk Broeders is Chairman of ICT~Office, Member Executive Committee Cap Gemini S.A. and Board member FENIT (Federations of Dutch IT and communication companies).

Since the beginning of his career Henk Broeders has been involved in the IT Sector. He was at the cradle of fusion between several communities that have led to ICT-office. At the WCIT 2008 in Malaysia, Henk Broeders received the right for organization of the WCIT 2010.

In his other positions as, non executive member of the Board of Forrester Research, board member of the Dutch employer organization VNO-NCW and member of the SER (Government Social Economic Advisory Board), Henk strives to contribute from his profound knowledge of management and ict.

In his position as Member Executive Committee Cap Gemini S.A. he is at the top of a number one player in the European market. He joined Capgemini in 1980 and performed various functions in automation and management and as Planning Director. From 1992 until 1998 he was the chairman of the former Dutch subsidiary Iquip Informatica BV (now called Sogeti). In May 1998 he joined the board of directors of Cap Gemini N.V.

From 2000-2004 he was Chairman of the Dutch board of Directors, responsible for HRM, various staff departments, management development, international contacts within the group. From 2004-2009 Henk Broeders was Managing Director Capgemini Strategic Business Unit Continental Europe and Asia Pacific. As a member of the Group Executive Committee, he is responsible for the worldwide coordination of Technology Services.
